We finally set up the crib. The one that was given to us was missing pieces so we opted to buy a new one...plus it makes me feel better to know that its safe. A crib is just not something you can try to make do without the pieces. We put him in the crib and he just layed there and looked around for about 5 minutes. Then Pat realized how springy the mattress is and started bouncing him. He was giggling so much. The bigger change for him was not moving into his crib, but that now he is in his own room. He slept on his own last night for the first time. He did pretty good. He was stubborn at first but he settled down and slept for most of the night in there. Hopefully he sleeps through the night soon! Mommy and Daddy need it!
Amen to that! Kailee and Carsen were a year old before they slept through the night! You don't realize how much you need sleep. He is soooo precious. What a sweet smile. We can't wait to see you! Only 17 days!!! Take care. We love you all. XOXO
